Are You Serious?

Target is a chain of discount department stores. At least I didn't even expect them to carry CD's with Christian music. As the company claims on its website, they are a one-stop shopping destination. Still, don't people take this a little bit too far?

I'm not going to Wal-Mart to get ballet shoes or a pack of double-ended screws. There are specialized stores for such purposes. Understandably, if one lives in the Bible Belt and rarely comes out of their circle, it might feel like their lifestyle is the norm. It should be spread all over in their community, where superstores carrying "regular" products are not an exception to the rule, and MUST offer Christian music.

But c'mon people! As any other Fortune 500 company, Target cares about their profits. If there are enough Colts fans, they'll sell Colts apparel, if High School Musical is hot, it will be on the shelves. Just because your product didn't sell well and is not there now, it is not a good reason to boycott the entire superstore.
Get over it, and for pits' sake, learn to shop online!
